There are 1800 children diagnosed each year in the UK but nearer 4200 children undergoing treatment annually

Wiggly T is a not-for-profit company. We make and gift T shirts for children with cancer. Our aim is to gift a shirt to every child who needs one across the UK.

What is a Wiggly T?

If your child is in treatment for cancer (or another, longer term, medical condition), lives in the UK, has a central line, and is age between 0-14yrs then we would love to make a T shirt for them to use during treatment.

Our goal is to gift a Wiggly T to every child in the UK undergoing treatment. To request a free Wiggly T, please follow the link below and fill in the form.

All of our T shirts are handmade to order, by our FABULOUS volunteers. Please allow up to 4 weeks for delivery.

All our T shirts are made from Oeko-Tex certified cotton jersey (95% cotton 5% elastane) or GOTs certified organic cotton jersey (95% cotton 5% elastane) to ensure they are breathable and soft with a slight stretch.

WARNING: All our tops contain resin snap poppers with small parts. These snaps have been tested against PD CEN/TR 16792:2014.

The Hickman T

Adapted Raglan Style Design:

Specifically crafted as a Raglan style T shirt to comfortably fit children with Hickman lines.

Internal Pocket:

Comes with a handy internal pocket for securely storing Wigglies when not in use, keeping them safe and out of the way.

Premium Fabric Composition:

Made from cotton jersey, blending 95% cotton and 5% elastane for a soft, stretchy, and comfortable feel.

Eco-Friendly Snap Poppers:

Equipped with natural resin snap poppers that are both MRI safe and environmentally friendly.

Top Poppers Design:

Features top poppers enabling the T shirt to be taken off downwards, enhancing ease and comfort.

Side Snap Accessibility:

Includes side snaps to allow for the Wigglies to be easily accessible for treatment.

Easy to Clean:

Machine washable at 30°, offering practicality and ease of maintenance for parents.

Drying Instructions:

Advised not to tumble dry to maintain the integrity and quality of the T shirt’s material.

Certified Textile Standards:

Utilises GOTS or OEKO-TEX Certified 100 fabrics, ensuring high standards of textile safety and environmental care.

The T shirt features a design from neck to armpit specifically tailored for easy access to a Portacath.

Neck Snap Convenience:

Neck snaps are designed to allow Wigglies to protrude for treatment, simplifying the process of accessing the port.

Internal Pocket for storage:

Includes a handy internal pocket to safely store Wigglies when they are not in use.

Eco-Friendly Snap Poppers:

Equipped with natural resin snap poppers that are both MRI safe and environmentally friendly.

Top Poppers Design:

Equipped with top poppers that enable the T shirt to be removed downwards, facilitating a more comfortable experience.

Get Involved

If you would like to help us in our mission to keep Wiggly T shirts FREE to families with a seriously ill child, there a so many ways that you can get involved.

Don’t get me wrong, we love donations! No matter how big or how small they all help us continue to do what we do. If, however you want to get involved in another way you can do more that fund a T shirt, you could host an event, take on a challenge and fundraise, join us at one of our events this year, join our sewing army of volunteers or help us cut fabric kits for sewists too.

A day to raise awareness, stand with families, and keep pushing for change and today, there is something hopeful to share.

The UK Government has announced a new £10 million Travel Fund to support children and young people with cancer, and their families, with the cost of travelling to treatment in England.

This is a huge step forward in easing one of the biggest pressures families face, allowing them to focus on what truly matters, their child’s health.

At Wiggly T, we know first hand how brutally cancer affects the whole family, physically, emotionally and financially. From frequent hospital visits to longer term stays far from home, practical support like this travel fund can make a real difference.

Today, we stand with children and families everywhere, celebrating progress, raising awareness, and continuing our mission to support children with cancer through thoughtfully designed clothing, gifted freely when it’s needed most.

World Cancer Day reminds us that change is possible, especially when communities come together. 💜 🌈
